Hello, Just wanted to say that after finding your site that you are doing a very good job. I wish that there was more that I could do. I've dreamed of being able some day to go to a place where people really needed help. But never seemed to have the money to get me over seas. But at least I can help out a little. I'm interested in having a few pen-pals. Although I'm 52. I love kids. I work with the education board as a substitute teacher for grades kindergarden thru the 12th grade. I also cover for the school librian when she has BBST meetings and do volunteer around the holiday trying to help the ones in need.
But right now I would love to have as many little pen-pals to write too. And when possible to send them little things. And maybe cards on their birthday, an outfit, or even a little money for them to spend as they would like. Just so they may could get something over there. At least I would know that it would put a smile on their faces. Theres been so many times that I just wished that I'd have the money to help widows, orphans, etc. But then there are those that have so much money that they don't know what to do with it. And then there are the one's that live from check to check or don't have any.
Right now my husband isn't working due to an accident he had on his job. And won't be able to go back to that type of work if any again. But I do want to help when I can . And I love to write to people. I already write to a few young people and some adults over around Ghana, uganda, and one other place that i would have to go look up where it is over there. So if you could allow me to have some of the children as penpals I would appreciate it. If there are certain ones that may need someone more please let me know. I don't want to show any particialality to one over the other. And if it would help I'd be more then glad to write all of them at one time or another. At least a little something.
Would appreciate a reply as soon as you can.
