University of Zambia pt1
The University of Zambia (UNZA) is a major professional backbone of Zambia. In a media lab are Dora Siliya and Eric Gondwe.
UNZA is Zambia's largest university, founded in 1966. It has a student population of about 10,000. Its main campus, the Great East Road Campus, is located on the Great East Road, in Lusaka.
It also has the Ridgeway Campus within Lusaka City located at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH), known as Ridgeway Campus. This campus specifically houses students pursuing medical and pharmacological disciplines.
Unusual for a university in Africa, the University of Zambia has a nanotechnology research center that was founded in 2001. It is currently the only of its kind on the African continent.
